Nice bar shame that people smoke inside and it seems to be OK... That's a big no no, but other than that it's a great place.

Compulsory visit, after the Oktoberfest evening. Nice staff, good drinks. Many Italians among the people who frequent the restaurant.

Sorry, I love the Kongressbar, but I have to reduce my 5 stars after my visit today. Two glasses of Lugana for 19 euros? Unfortunately, it is not clear

Nice place for group parties

Very friendly staff, super courteous and nice, absolutely good cocktails with insanely extensive selection and great ambience. It left nothing to be desired. Even a good cigar can be enjoyed with his drink. Price totally fair as I think. Definitely come back!

Loved the decor and the style, especially when so many bars in Munich inner city are just shabby rooms with tables. Great whiskeys and reasonably priced drinks.

Very nice - sit there and enjoy the night with a good cocktail. The place would actually need a well, but of course the congress bar is nothing. What they can do but what are the inappropriate beer table trimmings. Dear Congress Bar Team, you're bound to find something nicer here.

Really nice place

Excellent classic cocktail bar. The interior is beautifully kept in the style of the 50ties. All drinks tasted great so far, only the home-made Gingerbeer is a bit over the finish and so sour and intense that it kills all the other components of the drinks. However, the recommendations of the lovely service staff were always excellent and the places on the Old Fair Square are a dream in the evening sun.

Great bar with a nice atmosphere in the Bavaria Park. The service is very attentive and friendly and the drinks are very well mixed. The K-Burger is the best burger I have eaten in Munich so far. The prices are perfect, as you get a fantastic quality here. I always like to come here!

The live music in the evening was a good change from the standard music mix of most other bars but too loud here too. If you have to almost yell at each other in order to be able to talk, that is a clear minus point. A private piano player in the anteroom stole the show anyway - 1A. The food is really good and a bit exclusive, priced but fair. The ambience is a matter of taste. The operation friendly.

Pretty bar in an old fashioned way.

A very stylish bar in the ambience of the 1950s. Nice and attentive staff. The bartenders understand their business: every cocktail is cooked to perfection. The later the evening, the fuller it gets. If you like it more comfortable and intimate, should therefore be there relatively early. The live music that regularly takes place here is always worthwhile.

Bar directly at the traffic museum or behind the Bavaria. The bar is in the 50s style which is also noticeable in the often played live music. Good and tasty drinks at normal prices. You usually get a seat at the table or the bar. Friendly and fast service is also available. In summer you can also have a good drink outside.

A odd couple of times it was weird when the DJ insisted on playing Germany’s contribution to the Eurovision Song Contest singing in german. Also the guy that played all the high notes on the saxophone along to the music that just couldn’t take a break often enough.. Except from that It’s much like any large volume club in Europe and US. Went for Oktoberfest and the place was crowded. Everyone had move from the festival area to the club still dresses in lederhosen and dirndl dresses.

Good location, not stranger friendly (made fun of us when trying to order in German). Hard to get order (food + drink), hope it is just cause of the Oktoberfest atmosphere. Wouldn’t recommend the Augustiner Radler, it’s 3/4 soda rather than half .... disappointing!

Nice place, friendly staff & good burgers! Perfect place to have drink before/after going to a show in the alte Kongresshalle.

Wonderful service and wide variety of cocktails and drinks. We arrived quite late not having dinner and the waiter brought us free snacks. Around 10 euros a drink, 3 euros a beer

Nice place for live music

Ambience really great. People behind the bar very friendly and quick. Everything is super- actually. Had a WhiskeySour and Gin Fizz. Both were now rather average. Saved a little on alcohol. I'm not a hardcore drinker and not an alcoholic but they were really a little frugal in taste. I will definitely go for a second one and give the matter a second try. And then let's see.
